Caravan & Motorhome Annual Servicing

At AMCS we carry out Professional, Affordable, Approved Caravan and Motorhome servicing at your Home, Storage / Holiday Site across the East Midlands. As a fully Mobile Service you can save Time, Money & Hassle by not towing to a Service Centre or Dealer. Our extensive list of services are detailed below. We are a proud member of the Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS) and invest heavily in our products, training, equipment and we always focus on customer service.

We always:

  • Display a detailed list of prices and labour rates
  • Provide an estimate for any additional servicing or repair work
  • Give a realistic estimated time for completion
  • Use genuine spare parts where available
  • Ensure all work is carried out using skill, care and professional judgement
  • Always provide you with a check list of work done
  • Not start work without your express authority
  • Contact you for authority to continue if additional work is identified
  • Notify you in writing of faults which are not rectified, with an honest assessment of the urgency of the repairs required

Our Services are tailored to meet your needs and our service documentation is comprehensive and covers everything to ensure that your Caravan or Motorhome is in Tip Top condition for Trouble Free Holidays and is Safe & Legal to be on the Road.

Caravan Full Service – 4 Hours

We check all of the following and perform the service to the latest AWS Technician Guidelines including:

  1. Enhanced Gas Combustion & Carbon Monoxide Testing
  2. Chassis & Running Gear – Includes Hitch, Jockey Wheel, Breakaway, Handbrake, Brakes, Tyres, Suspension, Chassis & Floor Security – Genuine Chassis Parts & One Shot Nuts Supplied
  3. Electrical Systems – Includes 12n 12s & 13pin Plug Systems, Road Lights & Reflectors, Battery & Charging Systems (240V & 12V), Interior Lighting, All Wiring (240V & 12V), Earth Bonding & Safety and All Appliances including Fridge, Water & Space Heaters, Oven Hob & Air Conditioning where fitted
  4. Gas System – Includes Regulator & Hose Check, Gas Leak Testing (Air & Fuel Tests), All Appliances for Safety, Reliability, Correct combustion & Carbon Monoxide Levels, Cylinder Checks and Ventilation
  5. Water System – Includes Water Pump & Pressure Switch Testing & Setup, Taps, Switches, Pipework & Tanks, Water Filler & Housing, Waste System, Toilet Security & Operation. Winter Drain Down Between October and March.
  6. Ventilation – Includes Free Flow of Air, Rooflights, Windows and Vermin Ingression check
  7. Fire & Safety – Smote & Carbon Monoxide alarms tested, Fire Extinguisher & Blanket Checks
  8. Bodywork – Doors & Windows , Roof Condition, Grab Handle Security Floor check, Furniture Blinds etc. Full Damp Test including Bailey Alutec Models
  9. Full 66 Point Checklist, Observation & Finalisation Sheet, Full Damp Report & Combustion readouts supplied along with a current year Service Sticker

Motorhome / Caravan Habitation Service

We check all of the following and perform the service to the latest AWS Technician Guidelines including:

  1. Enhanced Gas Combustion & Carbon Monoxide Testing
  2. Underbody – Corner Steadies & Folding Steps (If Fitted), All Under-slung Tanks & Piping Checked
  3. Electrical Systems – Battery & Charging Systems (240V & 12V), Interior Lighting, All Wiring (240V & 12V), Earth Bonding & Safety and All Appliances including Fridge, Water & Space Heaters, Oven Hob & Air Conditioning where fitted
  4. Gas System – Includes Regulator & Hose Check, Gas Leak Testing (Air & Fuel Tests), LPG Tank Check (If Fitted), All Appliances for Safety, Reliability, Correct combustion & Carbon Monoxide Levels, Cylinder Checks and Ventilation
  5. Water System – Includes Water Pump & Pressure Switch Testing & Setup, Taps, Switches, Pipework & Tanks, Water Filler & Housing, Waste System, Toilet Security & Operation. Winter Drain Down Between Oct and March
  6. Ventilation – Includes Free Flow of Air, Rooflights, Windows and Vermin Ingression check
  7. Fire & Safety – Smote & Carbon Monoxide alarms tested, Fire Extinguisher & Blanket Checks
  8. Bodywork – Doors & Windows , Roof Condition, Rising Roof or Cabin Bed Checks (If Fitted), Body Attachments e.g. Ladders etc, Cab Seat Security, Floor check, Furniture Blinds etc. Full Damp Test including Bailey Alutec Models
  9. Full 50 Point Checklist, Observation & Finalisation Sheet, Full Damp Report & Combustion readouts supplied along with a current year Service Sticker

Caravan Chassis Service – Single or Twin Axle

We check all of the following and perform the service to the latest AWS Technician Guidelines including:

  1. Chassis & Running Gear – Includes Hitch, Jockey Wheel, Breakaway, Handbrake, Brakes, Tyres, Suspension, Chassis & Floor Security – Genuine Chassis Parts & One Shot Nuts Supplied
  2. Electrical Systems – Includes 12n 12s & 13pin Plug Systems, Road Lights & Reflectors
  3. Ventilation – Includes Free Flow of Air, Rooflights, Windows and Vermin Ingression check
  4. Bodywork – Doors & Windows , Roof Condition, Grab Handle Security Floor check
